Lake Benton Baptist Camp's Decommissioning Service

On October 13th, starting at 10 AM and ending at Noon, there will be a decommissioning
service at Lake Benton Baptist Camp.

Rev. Pat Murphy, a long-time
supporter of regional camping and former President of the Region, will lead the service.

Those who would like to express their appreciation for how God met them at Lake Benton Baptist Camp are invited to write their message so Pat can share it during the service.

GRR Honored for Gulf Mission Work

Dwight Stinnett received on behalf of GRR Churches and Staff a certificate of Appreciation from Victoria Goff, National Coordinator of Volunteer Ministries, Board of National Ministries, ABCUSA.

This presentation, made during the Annual Mission and Ministry Banquet of the GRR Annual Meeting, was to honor our many GRR churches and members of your GRR Staff who joined ongoing work in helping the victims of hurricanes Katrina and Rita regain housing and health. During the April 2007 Baptist Blitz partnership work with Habitat for Humanity, one-third of the American Baptists working were from churches of the Great Rivers Region.
