Rev. Muriel L. Johnson was one of six panelists that got the congregation excited while making a point during a forum at the Shalom Church. The forum called "If I Ruled the World" focused on what can be done to bridge the gap between the Hip Hop and Civil Rights movement in America.

Several Great Rivers Region churches are making plans for volunteer groups to go to the Gulf Coast after Easter.
If your church is making plans to go to the Gulf Coast, please give us the name of your church, your destination and the dates of your project. We will post it on the GRR website so churches across the Region can support your group with prayer. Privacy issues prevent listing names of participants.

Executive Pastor, Jym Gregory send this message, "Cherry Hills is sending two teams down to the Gulf Coast for construction projects next month. One team will go to Baton Rouge, LA for the "Baptist Blitz Build" from April 23-27 --- the Habitat building project. Another team will go to Biloxi, MS for another Habitat project to work on sites hit during Hurricane Katrina.
