Please note: Opening any of the following downloads may require several seconds. Two processes cause this delay. Adobe Reader IconFirst, your computer must open the Adobe Reader. Second, the Adobe Reader opens the file. If you do not have the Adobe Reader installed on your computer, follow this link to the download page or click on the Adobe icon above . Thank you for your patience. (Needing to produce PDFs? Read about the options.)

One of the advantages of using the Adobe Reader beginning with version 6 with Windows XP is you have the option to have any PDF page (other than scanned in) read to you. On the Adobe menu go to View then Read Out Loud.

Considering an E-Newsletter?

The first church in our region that I remember doing this is Peoria FBC. Since then, I have witnessed several more of our GRR churches "coming online" with their e-newsletters.
How is this done? Start with your word or desktop publishing application, then convert your finished file to PDF (smaller file, more resistant to viruses, and the Adobe Reader is free and able to be used on Windows and Mac computers).
Your GRR Staff has posted a list of PDF making software. It is no longer necessary to spend $200 to get the software from Adobe to be able to produce PDFs. The most recent addition to our list is a free application. Find its address on this site!
