Greetings, In this Up-Date I have two items to share with you.

The first is a reminder about the need for funding to lay carpet in the refurbished cottage that we need to open because of the demand for more living space for more children. We have a donation of $500.00 from one church in our Region and $4,000.00 more is needed. Please consider this as a project for you or your church.

The second one has to do with Christmas at the Murrow Home.

    I have had questions about Christmas Gifts for the children at Murrow. The following is the suggestion from Murrow Home about Christmas Gifts and I think it is a good idea.

"The ideal thing to give at Christmas are Gift Cards from either Wal-Mart, KMart, JCPenney  or Sears.  It has been easier to let the children shop and they have had so much fun doing that.  Unless you want to purchase gifts for a specific child, we can mail a wish list for an individual child."
