Use Clips from Tapes, CDs and DVDs (Remember, acquire permission to do so.)
Project live happenings such as child dedications and baptisms so that all persons in worship can better see.
Record services, ministries, and mission trips for presentation to the whole congregation.

What You Need

Minimum - To Show Other's Presentations such as ABC and GRR Mission Videos, Training Videos, VBS and Sunday School Curricula, etc

A willing, capable, and available person (other than pastor) who is willing to prepare and run this at the needed time.
VCR, DVD Player, and/or access to a computer
Projector (for congregation) or large screen television for a small meeting room.
The DVD or VHS tape or clip that is to be presented

To Grow through Intentional Use of this Tool:

A discipleship tech team to collaborate with the worship team and pastor which uses video and other media to enhance worship and teaching experiences for the congregation.

Access to, if not purchase of, a video camera.

Range of price: $300 - $30,000; this range includes the cameras a family might buy - which is enough for most churches to those a person might buy to "moonlight" for recording weddings as a parttime job to fully professional, even "studio" (these are more expensive, still) cameras.

Bare white wall or screen on which to project.

Video Editing Software for composing and editing the clips to be used for projection in worship, classes, and the web.
